Who is she?
Corinne Caputo is a comedian, writer, and actor. Her first book, a self help parody, How To Success: A Writer’s Guide To Fame and Fortune was published in March of 2017 by Chronicle Books to rave reviews (from her mother, other people have described it as “a filler for my Amazon order”).
She also hosts the monthly science/comedy show, Astronaut Training, on the first Saturday of every month at Caveat. Two teams (comprised of a real scientist and an even realer comedian) compete to go to Mars at this 'space exploration crash course meets 90's Nickelodeon game show.’ (You should come!) And she pens a (kind of) weekly humorous newsletter, Not Rocket Science, the only newsletter that breaks down science into indecipherable parts!
Corinne also works regularly with her writing partner, Erica Tachoir. Together they created and starred in Life, After, an online series. Released in the summer of 2016, it was chosen by A.V. Club as a streaming pick of the day. The web series was adapted into a television pilot script, which advanced in the 2017 New York Television Festival, naming Corinne and Erica “Notable Writers.” All of their work can be seen at slaybeth.com.
Corinne has also written scripted content for outlets like MTV and Refinery29, and, like most people her age, she has studied both improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. corinnecaputo.com
